Corpus Britney is een genrebrekende roman vol dubbelgangers, geesten, visioenen, zijsporen en verhalen-in-verhalen – woest associatief en doorspekt met donkere humor.

Bella Goth, een B‑horrorfilmactrice die als twee druppels water op Britney Spears lijkt, gaat na een draaidag in rook op. Paranormaal detective Malayney Melkzuur volgt haar spoor over continenten en door eeuwen: een hallucinerende queeste door popcultuur, cyberspacehorror en digitale ruïnes, langs de verknoopte geschiedenissen van het kapitalisme, tot aan zijn algoritmisch gestuurde heden.

Naphtha Tears is an experimental short film. A body (a girl’s, the earth’s) has disintegrated into images, been fragmented across the endless surfaces of audiovisual capitalism. Three avatars travel through copies of copies of landscapes, performing a ritual to heal the wound, to stem the flow of pixels and oil. In the associative logic of the dream, different realities bleed into one another. Ghostly paparazzi flashes, simulated myths, celebrity-saints, magic plants, and secret histories of coal and oil coagulate, contaminate each other.
