Ken & Flo Jacobs: The Sky Socialist

Een avond ter vie­ring van het werk en leven van Ken en Flo Jacobs, die in 2025 van ons zijn heen­ge­gaan. Ze vorm­den een van de meest pro­mi­nen­te en gewaar­deer­de kop­pels bin­nen de Amerikaanse avant-gar­de­film. We ver­to­nen The Sky Socialist, een film waar ze gedu­ren­de 55 jaar steeds opnieuw naar terug­gre­pen, die ver­schil­len­de vor­men aan­nam en ande­re wer­ken voed­de, tot de uit­ein­de­lij­ke vol­tooi­ing ervan in 2019.

Deze ver­te­de­ren­de mini-home-movie schil­dert niet alleen het por­tret van een slaap­dron­ken jon­gen, Ken en Flo’s zoon Azazel, maar indi­rect ook dat van twee lief­de­vol­le ouders.
