Acts of Painting
OFFoff presenteert een programma waarin filmmakers restbeelden recycleren tot een abstract schilderij, een existentiële parabel verbeelden, de pellicule beschilderen als was het een canvas of in hun extatische tableaus de schilder als subversief personage opvoeren.
Dit filmprogramma sluit aan op de boekvoorstelling van Acts of Painting en het gelijknamige symposium (14-18u) in Kunsthal Gent, georganiseerd door schilder en onderzoeker Ritsart Gobyn (LUCA School of Arts Gent).
